Michelle Lally, Partner and Chair of Osler’s Competition Law/Foreign Investment Group, will be a panelist at the session The Limits of Competition Act Enforcement in Regulated Industries: When Does the Regulated Conduct Doctrine Apply?

The forum is being held at the Toronto Board of Trade

The Competition Bureau is increasing its role in promoting or enforcing the Competition Act in regulated industries, testing the boundaries of the regulated conduct doctrine. Panelists from private practice and the Bureau will discuss the status and application of the regulated conduct doctrine in Canada, the legal and practical limits of its application, and the resulting implications for the enforcement of the Competition Act in regulated industries.

Accreditation: The time spent attending this program (6.5 hours) may be applied toward the annual CPD requirement in all MCPD jurisdictions.
