Adam Kardash and Michael Fekete will be speaking at a workshop organized by IT World Canada as part of the CanadianCIO Executive Education Series. The workshop will be held at the offices of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.
Canada is enacting comprehensive anti-spam legislation [CASL] affecting all organizations that send emails, text messages and other commercial electronic messages in the course of their marketing and other business activities – that means virtually every company in Canada. CASL also contains rules for the installation of computer programs.
This workshop will provide chief privacy officers and corporate executives responsible for CASL adherence with the following:
