Summer and Articling Students
In Montréal, all of our future articling students are offered summer and part-time work over the course of their studies. During the summer terms, students typically focus on one practice area with some cross-over to other areas.
Our summer program provides students with the opportunity to get to know our firm's lawyers and practice areas. Our students are involved in all stages of client work and gain practical insights into a wide variety of current and emerging business law issues, as well as into a lawyer's daily practice.
Osler’s articling program provides students with the opportunity to work closely with leading practitioners across specialities and styles. Our articling program is tailored to be as relevant and flexible as possible, targeted to the learning goals and career interests of each individual student.
In Montréal, the six-month internship is divided into two or three personalized and flexible rotations. Students have the option to determine how much time they wish to spend in each rotation, focusing on a special-interest area or gaining exposure to a variety of practices.
