Osler is proud to announce that Terry Burgoyne, a partner in Osler’s Corporate Practice Group, has been named a BTI Client Service All-Star for 2017. Terry was one of just three lawyers in Canada this year to earn the global accolade. The honour celebrates “a rare breed of attorneys who combine exceptional legal expertise with practical advice, business savvy and innovative, effective solutions — all of which help make … clients’ lives easier.”

According to BTI, the 319 lawyers identified in this year’s All-Star line-up stand out as the “absolute best at client service” and share the following six common traits: superior client focus; exceptional understanding of the client's business; legal skills; delivering efficient, value-added service; being an innovative thought leader and providing outstanding results.

The methodology behind the All-Star list is solely client-driven and is based on BTI’s Annual Study of General Counsel and Legal Decision Makers. Three hundred and eleven legal decision makers from around the globe who represent the world’s leading organizations — including Global 500, Fortune 1000, and privately held companies — were interviewed in compiling this year’s All-Star list. Lawyers cannot self-nominate or refer and inclusion in the All-Star list cannot be purchased.
