Osler is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized as the top legal advisor in Canada in Infralogic’s 2022–2023 year-to-date rankings. Infralogic is an analytical platform that tracks investments and deals in the energy and infrastructure sectors worldwide.
The firm was ranked first in terms of deal value, at more than US$9.25 billion — significantly higher than the second-place firm, which posted US$5.62 billion in deals. Osler advised on 21 transactions in this time period, earning the firm second place by deal count in the Canadian legal advisor league tables.
Osler has acted on several major deals for transit, renewable energy and social infrastructure, including the Rolling Stock, Systems, Operation and Maintenance contract for the Ontario Line subway in Toronto; the Thunder Bay Correctional Complex; the CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre; the Grandview Children’s Treatment Centre; the South Niagara Hospital; the Trillium Health Partners broader redevelopment at the Mississauga Hospital site; the Lanfine Wind Project; and the Oneida Energy Battery Storage CIB financing.
