Osler advised Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) on the sale of Plusgrade Inc., alongside Novacap and certain other shareholders, to General Atlantic for more than US$1 billion. The transaction gives General Atlantic a stake of more than 50 per cent; CDPQ will remain a significant shareholder of Plusgrade. As a result of the transaction, Plusgrade is valued at more than $2 billion.

Headquartered in Montreal, Plusgrade designs and develops travel industry software and has a portfolio of leading ancillary revenue solutions.

CDPQ is a global investment group with net assets of $434 billion.

General Atlantic is a US-based growth equity investor with $86 billion assets under management.
