David is an articling student who will be rotating through the Tax, Insolvency & Restructuring, Banking & Financial Services, and Emerging & High Growth Companies groups. He joined the firm as a summer law student in 2022 and completed formal rotations as part of the Tax and Insolvency & Restructuring groups.
Before entering law school, David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Calgary, where he was actively involved in various student leadership roles and award-winning technical projects. He also gained over two years of engineering design experience in the energy sector working for leading global engineering-services companies. During law school, David sought to specialize in business and tax law and pursued his keen interest through extensive involvement with the Business Law Clinic, Venture Law Society, and Tax Law Society at Queen’s University.
