Quentin is a litigator based in our Montreal office. His practice is focused on complex civil and commercial cases, including civil liability, contractual disputes, product liability, class actions, shareholder’s disputes, securities litigation and commercial arbitration. Quentin also has experience in extraordinary remedies such as injunctions and seizures. Quentin’s work led him to appear before all judicial levels in Québec, including various administrative tribunals, as well the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining the firm, Quentin worked as an associate in a national law firm and also acted as secondee in the legal department of a leading Canadian telecommunications company. During his studies, Quentin conducted researches in constitutional law, international trade and international investment law. Quentin also won the Pierre-Basile-Mignault moot competition in civil law and received the award for best oralist of the competition.

    • Various developers, owners and builders in connection with disputes related to construction projects, latent defects, contractual disputes and legal hypothecs.

    CLASS ACTIONS

    • Sunwing Airlines in defence of a class action for prohibited practices.
    • DoorDash in defence of a class action in connection with commission fees charged to participating restaurants.

    • Xebec Adsorption Inc. in the defence of a securities class action alleging misrepresentation.

    • A car dealer in the defence of a prohibited practices class action.

    • A rail carrier in defence of a class action resulting from a derailment.
