Each year, the Quebec Bar awards the prestigious Advocatus Emeritus designation to select lawyers who stand out for the excellence of their professional and community engagement and their exceptional contribution to the legal profession. Recipients are recognized for their exemplary contributions to the profession as well as their social and community engagement.
With over 30 years of experience, Sandra is a recognized leader in the insolvency and restructuring practice. She is lauded for her creative and practical approach to problem solving and finding solutions to complex business and legal problems.
Sandra's expertise and leadership are recognized locally, nationally and internationally, as evidenced by the numerous rankings and awards received over the years.
In addition, Sandra is very involved in various community organizations promoting academic excellence, diversity and inclusion and the well-being of disadvantaged members of the community.
The Advocatus Emeritus award will be presented to Sandra and the other recipients at a special ceremony to be held in Montréal on November 16, 2021.
