Jakob has completed his second year of the JD program at Queen’s University. Prior to law school, he co-founded a sustainable urban agriculture company, was a fellow at a pan-Canadian family foundation and worked with the New Brunswick government to develop the province’s first social innovation lab.
Jakob is interested in helping promising businesses scale. He has explored this interest throughout law school as a member of Canadian legal technology startup, Alexsei; as a project analyst at Queen’s University’s Conflict Analytics Lab; and as co-president of the Queen’s Venture Law Society. This summer he will rotate through the Corporate (Emerging High Growth Companies) and Commercial (Privacy) groups.
