Osler is pleased to welcome Randal Van de Mosselaer to the firm as a partner in our leading Insolvency & Restructuring Group. With more than 20 years of experience, Randal has deep expertise in corporate restructurings and insolvencies representing debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and other stakeholders in Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act proceedings, receiverships and bankruptcies. He also regularly represents and advises court-appointed officers, including monitors, receivers and trustees-in-bankruptcy.
Randal is the former Chair of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency subsection (Alberta Branch) of the Canadian Bar Association and is a member of the Northwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
Randal was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1993 and the Alberta Bar in 1995. He clerked to Mr. Justice Major at the Supreme Court of Canada in 1994.
