Congratulations to our clients for earning top honours in their respective categories at the Canadian Dealmakers Awards 2017, which were announced on March 8 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
Osler is proud to have been involved in four of the Canadian Dealmakers Awards’ top transactions from last year:
- Business Services Deal of the Year – Ritchie Bros. acquires IronPlanet (Osler acted as Canadian counsel to Goldman Sachs and the initial purchasers)
- IPO of the Year – IPO of Canada Goose Holdings Inc. on the NYSE and the TSX (Osler represented the underwriters in the IPO and Secondary Offering)
- Mining Deal of the Year – Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc.’s merger with Agrium Inc. (Osler advised Agrium Inc. on U.S. tax aspects)
- Information Technology Deal of the Year – TMX Group Limited acquires Trayport Holdings Inc. from ICE (Osler represented ICE)
