Osler recognized by GRR 30 as a top cross-border restructuring and insolvency firm for 2nd straight year

Jun 27, 2018

Osler is pleased to once again be recognized in the 2nd Annual GRR 30 list as one of the 2018 “world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.” The annual list, published by the Global Restructuring Review, ranks the top 30 standout law firms identified in the GRR 100 guide, which recognizes outstanding cross-border insolvency and restructuring expertise.

The Global Restructuring Review compiles its rankings based on an extensive, months-long research process that includes a series of detailed questionnaires to thousands of law firm contacts. Criteria for the first part of the questionnaire include notable past cases, geographical scope, history of their insolvency and restructuring practice, key partners, the number and value of the firm’s cross-border cases, and the top 10 insolvency and restructuring matters the firm worked on during the research period.

The criteria for the second part of the questionnaire, which informs the GRR 30 list, is based on two key metrics:  an analysis of the firm’s top 10 cases, and the firm’s performance in Who’s Who Legal: Restructuring & Insolvency, 2018, the sister publication of the Global Restructuring Review.
