Osler named 'National Firm of the Year' for Canada at the 2020 IFLR Americas Awards

Osler is proud to have once again been named 'National Firm of the Year' for Canada at the 2020 International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Americas Awards. The honour recognizes the firm with the overall best track record in 2019 in giving local law advice on the most innovative cross-border deals across all award practice areas.

Osler Hoskin and Harcourt LLP represented Cowen and Company and the underwriters as U.S. and Canadian legal counsel in Sundial Growers’ US$143 million U.S. and Canadian IPO of common shares and NASDAQ listing.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Entertainment One in its US$4 billion announced acquisition by Hasbro.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Dream Global Real Estate Investment Trust in its $6.2 billion acquisition by Blackstone.

Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt LLP represented the independent committee of the Board of Directors in its US$10 billion acquisition by Newmont Mining.
