Osler is pleased to congratulate the Canadian tech companies recently inducted into the Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) Top 20 Early and Top 10 Growth start-ups of 2021. We are proud to have represented 12 of the organizations recognized this year.
Our clients that made the Top 20 Early-Stage list are as follows: Lumen5 Tech, MinervaAI, Properly, ODAIA, Disco, EAIGLE, Fable, Spocket.
The top 10 Growth-Stage winners who are Osler clients include: BlueDot Inc, Flashfood, Certn, and Ledn.
The CIX Top 20 Early and Top 10 Growth programs are Canada’s largest national showcase of the hottest and most innovative tech companies. Made up of industry experts and investors, the CIX selection committee of more than 100 global tech investors. The committee chooses companies based on several factors, including product and service offerings, depth of management, market opportunity, business model and diversity of the management team. Companies were also given the opportunity to discuss how the pandemic affected their business.
The Top 20 Early program is for companies with net revenue of less than $5 million or that have raised less than $10 million. The Top 10 Growth program is dedicated to later-stage companies. This year there were 492 applications, a 14% increase from last year.
