William is an associate in the disputes group of Osler’s Calgary office. His practice focuses on construction and public law litigation related to energy and infrastructure projects. William combines extensive litigation experience with a deep understanding of engineering and energy to produce persuasive arguments in even the most technical cases.
In addition to his energy and infrastructure work, William also maintains a general civil litigation practice which includes constitutional litigation, corporate governance disputes, real estate litigation, partnership disputes, and intellectual property litigation.
William has conducted trials, arbitrations and applications. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court of Canada, the New Brunswick Court of King’s Bench, private arbitral tribunals, and numerous provincial small claims courts.
Prior to joining Osler, William practiced civil litigation at a leading national firm in Toronto and worked in project engineering for a multinational energy producer in Alberta.
