As a testament to the firm’s dedication to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, Osler is honoured to once again be named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2026.

“At Osler, we believe that a truly inclusive workplace is one where every individual can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and reach their full potential,” says Shuli Rodal, Osler’s Diversity Committee Chair, partner and Chair of the Competition/Antitrust and Foreign Investment Group. “Being recognized as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers reflects our ongoing commitment to building a firm culture that values different perspectives and experiences. Over the past year, we have continued to expand our programs and initiatives that are designed to support this vision, benefiting our people, our clients, and the communities we serve.”

In 2025, Osler advanced its inclusion strategy, creating opportunities for engagement across the firm. More than 450 firm members are now supported through active regional diversity committees in Calgary, Montréal and Vancouver, complementing the work of national committees and Legal Professional Resource Groups.

A key driver of this recognition is the demonstrated impact of Osler’s Advancement of Women Lawyers program. Now in its fifth year, the program has delivered sustained results, with 50% of senior women associates from its inaugural cohort admitted to partnership, alongside continued promotions from subsequent cohorts.

Osler also expanded its inclusion framework with the launch of the Middle Eastern and North African Network, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to intersectionality and representation. In parallel, the firm enhanced its benefits by offering gender affirmation benefits and formalized transition supports, building on existing parental, fertility and flexible-work programs.

Together, these developments reflect Osler’s focus on long-term, integrated inclusion — moving beyond initiatives to deliver lasting cultural and career impact.
