On April 30, 2018, Laurentian Bank officially sold its agricultural loan portfolio to National Bank for $474 million. Laurentian Bank’s Business Services decided to abandon agricultural loans from a specialization perspective, as the agricultural niche no longer matched the bank’s strategy.
