On July 29, 2020, Bird Construction Inc. and Stuart Olson Inc. entered into an agreement under which Bird Construction will acquire Stuart Olson for an aggregate consideration of $96.5 million. The transaction was unanimously approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies and will create a company positioned for growth. The combination will provide diversified infrastructure and construction services and greater diversification across services, end markets and geographies.
