Canada’s economic outlook is entering a pivotal moment.

Please join us virtually on Monday, June 15, 2026, as Stephen Poloz, Special Advisor to Osler, draws on his extensive experience as Governor of the Bank of Canada to share his insights on the economic landscape ahead.

Stephen will examine the key forces shaping Canada’s economy including shifting employment trends, rising food and fuel costs, and the implications of upcoming United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement trade negotiations. We will also examine Prime Minister Mark Carney’s increasingly firm stance with the U.S. and whether it will strengthen our economic position or prove to be more problematic for the future.

This session offers a valuable opportunity to hear directly from one of Canada’s foremost experts on the economy and to gain perspectives that may help inform your strategic planning in the months ahead.

Osler National Co-Chair Emmanuel Pressman will facilitate the Q&A session with Stephen.
