Vancouver Opera presents Strauss’ Die Fledermaus

Date

October 31, 2024

Time

5:30 (Reception) | 7:30 p.m. (Performance)

Location

1055 Dunsmuir Street, 30th Floor (Reception) | Queen Elizabeth Theatre (Performance)

An audience favourite since its 1874 premiere, Die Fledermaus remains the most-performed operetta in the world for good reason. This vaudeville and farce-inspired comedy masterwork revels in effervescent odes to drinking, dancing, dining, laughing, and, well, more drinking, while a madcap plot pinballs through masquerade and mistaken identities, romantic dalliances, pranks and payback.

We invite you to join us for an evening at the opera, with a casual pre-performance reception at our offices where we will be serving appetizers and drinks. Following the reception, we plan to walk to the theatre together; however, for those who prefer not to walk, taxis will be available.

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience to secure your spot, as this is an intimate event with limited seats
