Daniel received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During law school, Daniel was involved in mooting both as a participant and as a coach.
Daniel also reviewed scholarly submissions for the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review as a member of the Senior Board and worked as a research assistant at the Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights. Prior to law school, Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba
