Grace Gyles

Grace Gyles

Grace earned her JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, she completed a term at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Law, and worked as a clerk in Geneva, Switzerland, with Special Member Marcia V.J. Kran of the United Nations Human Rights Committee.

Grace also served as an Event Coordinator for the Allard Law Women’s Caucus and as a clerk for the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot.

Prior to law school, Grace earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Legal Studies, and Research from Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating With Distinction. During this time, she supported her professors in instructing the second-year course “Introduction to Law,” which provided students with a foundational understanding of the Canadian legal system.

Her undergraduate studies also included academic terms at the Australian Catholic University in Sydney, Australia, and the University of Waterloo, where she focused on international relations and South Asian politics, respectively.
