Alexia is an associate in Osler’s Technology Group in Montréal, where she acts as a true strategic partner to her clients.
With international experience gained in France and Singapore, she supports the firm’s technology companies and start-ups in developing their contractual strategy and structuring and negotiating commercial and technology agreements, while providing innovative legal solutions tailored to their specific challenges.
Alexia is involved in all stages of contractual projects, from drafting to negotiation, across a wide range of commercial contracts, including manufacturing, supply, distribution, resale, and service agreements. In particular, Alexia has in-depth expertise in technology contracts, including outsourcing agreements, software licensing, SaaS agreements, software distribution and resale agreements, as well as general terms and conditions of sale or service.
She also advises the firm’s clients on data ownership and governance issues, particularly in the context of the developing or using artificial intelligence solutions. In this capacity, she also assists companies in implementing and operationalizing AI governance programs. Notably, she holds the AI Governance Professional certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Alexia regularly collaborates with Osler’s Emerging and High-Growth Companies group, supporting innovative companies at every stage of their development.
With a degree in both Civil Law and Common Law from McGill University, a Master’s degree in International Business Law (University of Lyon), and a Master’s in Business Administration (EMLyon), Alexia leverages her proactivity, precision, and adaptability to advance the innovation and growth of her clients.
