Ann Zhang

Ann Zhang

Ann is an associate in the Pensions and Benefits Group of our Toronto office. She advises public and private sector pension plan sponsors and administrators on a broad range of matters, including pension fund investment, governance, plan administration, and regulatory compliance. Ann also provides advice on pension and benefits issues in the context of corporate mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border secured lending transactions.

Ann obtained her J.D. from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. While in law school, she served as the Chair of the Students’ Law Society and as the Lead Teaching Assistant for the Academic Success Program.  She was also an associate editor of the Windsor Law Review and a research assistant for faculty members.

Ann was the recipient the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Prize for attaining the highest standing in subjects falling within the corporate and commercial study of law. She was also the recipient of the Gowling WLG Prize in Securities Regulation.

Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management where she specialized in Finance and Economics.
