Emma Woods is the Director of Osler’s Emerging and High Growth (EHG) Companies group in Toronto with over 10 years of experience working with clients in the early- and growth-stage ventures community. Emma plays a critical role in the operations and practice management of the EHG group at a national level, combining hands-on execution with a strategic outlook to drive operational excellence across all aspects of the practice.
Emma provides extensive support to the practice and its clients across a wide range of functions, including project management, business and client development initiatives, client onboarding, and innovation projects. She is instrumental in coordinating cross-functional teams that advance the EHG group’s profile and deepen client relationships.
A central part of Emma’s role involves negotiating and managing strategic partnerships at both the national and local levels. She oversees relationships with key partners such as Creative Destruction Lab, NEXT Canada, League of Innovators, and Cap Inclusive’s FemTech Breakfast Club, ensuring these collaborations support founders and emerging companies throughout their growth journey.
Through her work with founders and high-growth ecosystem partners, Emma continues to strengthen Osler’s position as a trusted advisor to Canada’s most dynamic emerging companies.
