Hunter is an associate in Osler’s Financial Services group. Her practice focuses on the regulation of financial institutions and other financial service providers, including banks, insurance companies, payment card industry participants and fintechs.
Hunter’s practice covers various areas of financial services regulation, including anti-money laundering, consumer lending, cost of borrowing legislation, bank regulation and credit reporting. Hunter has assisted several reporting entities with developing their anti-money laundering policies and procedures. She also provides corporate governance support to financial institutions.
Hunter completed her J.D. at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where she served as Co-President of the University of Toronto Business Law Society. Prior to law school, she completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biological Sciences at the University of Manitoba.
Hunter joined Osler as a summer student in 2021 and completed her articles with the firm in 2023.
