Kevin is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group. He practices in all areas of intellectual property, with a focus on litigation.
Kevin has been involved in matters before the Trademark Opposition Board, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Federal Court. Before joining Osler, Kevin practiced at a national intellectual property boutique firm and clerked at the Federal Court.
Prior to law school, Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Victoria, followed by a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University. He has worked as a cancer researcher, studying the genetic underpinnings of human and veterinary cancers working towards developing novel methods to detect and monitor disease. He is author of eleven peer-reviewed articles in Molecular Biology and Genomics.
