Nick is Counsel in our Corporate Group’s Executive Compensation practice.
He advises organizations of all types and sizes on the negotiation, drafting, and implementation of share- and cash-based incentive compensation arrangements, with a focus on tax-efficient solutions that are aligned with his clients’ business objectives. Nick also assists clients with executive employment and termination arrangements, and benefit plan matters, along with compensation disclosure, corporate governance and securities compliance matters.
Nick regularly advises on international employment and incentive arrangements, and executive compensation and benefits issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and other corporate transactions.
Nick obtained his J.D. from Queen’s University. During law school, he attended an exchange at the University of Hong Kong where he studied financial markets and corporate governance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with specializations in accounting and organizational behaviour from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
