Lisa Mantello, a partner in Osler’s Banking and Financial Services Group, recently participated in a Peer Connections podcast presented by the Global Peer Financing Association (GPFA) and hosted by Debbie Caruso from the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP). In “Legal speak: Securities lending and repo 101,” Lisa shares her expertise about the framework of legal documentation used in securities lending and repurchase transactions. GPFA is a recently formed association of beneficial owners with the shared goal of creating a more efficient and actionable way to increase and encourage peer-to-peer trading activity in the securities lending and repo markets. Osler is one of three firms, and the only law firm, that has partnered with the GPFA.
