Osler Works – Transactional, 1L Student Intern (Ottawa)

Our Ottawa office is looking for a first-year law student (or a second-year in an applicable combined program) to spend the summer of 2020 in our Osler Works – Transactional group.

Summer Program

The Ottawa office typically hires 3-5 summer students each year: 2-4 in the IP department (typically 1-2 first year and 1-2 second year), and generally 1 student (second year) in the business and/or regulatory practice groups. The IP summer student recruitment occurs earlier than the general summer student recruitment.

2020 Intellectual Property Summer Law Student Recruitment (1L and 2L)

As the recruitment process for 1st and 2nd year law students concluded in November 2019, we are no longer accepting applications for 2020 summer positions.

2018 General Summer Law Student Recruitment (2L)

We will not be participating in the recruitment of second year law students for 2018 summer positions.

Articling Program

2019/2020 Positions

Due to a full complement of articling students for the 2019/2020 term, we are not currently accepting applications from external candidates.

2020/2021 Positions

We anticipate satisfying our 2020/2021 articling complement from our 2020 summer students. We will not be considering applications from external candidates.
