Andrew Schnell

Andrew is an associate in the Disputes Group of our Calgary office. He acts in complex corporate and commercial litigation spanning both private and public law. Andrew has appeared before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and the Federal Court.

Andrew received his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2022, where he volunteered for Student Legal Assistance and competed in the Gale Cup and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration moot competitions.

Before law school, Andrew was Captain of the Canadian National Squash team, winning five Pan American Games Medals and two Canadian National Championships. During this time, Andrew completed both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Andrew also founded InspiredBySport, a charitable initiative that uses sport to support children in Morley, Alberta.
