Michael’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities law in the technology sector. As a senior associate in Osler’s Emerging and High Growth Companies group, Michael advises both technology companies and a wide range of investors in connection with a variety of transactions including acquisitions and divestitures, venture capital, growth equity and private equity financings, recapitalizations, joint ventures and strategic alliances, all in addition to supporting the day-to-day corporate needs of the companies that he acts for.

Michael received his law degree at the University of Windsor. Prior to attending law school, Michael obtained a Masters of Arts in International Affairs, with a focus on Global Political Economy, from Carleton University.

Prior to joining Osler, Michael worked at a respected Ottawa-based business law firm which focused on transactional work for technology companies.
