Stephanie is an associate in the Litigation Group of our Calgary office. She practices general commercial litigation with a focus on energy and environmental matters, contract disputes, and complex commercial arbitrations. Stephanie has appeared at the Court of King's Bench and the Provincial Court of Alberta, and has experience conducting matters before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Stephanie has also conducted an array of disputes in domestic and international arbitration proceedings under various institutional and ad hoc rules. Stephanie’s arbitration experience includes dealing with significant energy disputes involving construction issues, joint venture operations, and operating agreements. She has been admitted as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Prior to joining Osler, Stephanie was an associate with another prominent national law firm.

    • Acted in an appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada involving a stay of litigation in favour of arbitration in the context of insolvency proceedings. 
    • Acted in a confidential international arbitration involving various issues arising from the construction of a food processing facility.
    • Acted in a confidential international arbitration involving the interpretation of revenue sharing terms in an operating agreement.
    • Acted in a confidential international arbitration involving various issues arising from the construction of a pier.
    • Acted in a confidential domestic arbitration involving the interpretation of revenue sharing terms in a joint venture agreement.
    • Advised a variety of individual clients on professional negligence issues.
