On July 17, 2026, SiftMed announced that it secured financing led by Staircase Ventures, with participation from The51 and existing investors Pelorus VC, Sandpiper Ventures and the founders of Verafin. SiftMed plans on utilizing the financing towards expanding the reach of its AI-powered medical claim document review software.
SiftMed is a St. John’s–based software company that provides AI-powered medical record review software for insurance claims teams. Its platform organizes and analyzes medical files, links outputs back to source records and helps reviewers identify relevant information in medical claim files.
