Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP is pleased to congratulate our partner, Céline Legendre, an outstanding litigator and colleague, on her appointment to the Superior Court of Québec.
Céline joined our firm three years ago as a partner in our national litigation department and was a key member of our class action defence and privacy and information management practices. Céline's extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation also extends to corporate governance, securities, product liability, professional liability and competition. Céline has advised clients in major cases and has participated in several sensitive regulatory investigations. Céline's contributions to the legal profession, including as a speaker and as a mentor to the next generation of lawyers, demonstrate a deep commitment to the practice of law.
“Although we will miss Céline and her many significant contributions to this office and our firm, we wish her the best of luck and are confident that she will continue to make her mark on the bench,” said Sandra Abitan, Managing Partner of the Montréal office.
Doug Bryce, National Managing Partner, adds: “We are confident that Céline will bring the same rigorous thinking and practical approach to the bench as she did during her time with us, and that she will continue to have a successful career.”
