Five Osler lawyers shortlisted for Euromoney Legal Media Group’s 2019 Americas Rising Star Awards

Osler is proud to announce that five of the firm’s lawyers have been shortlisted for Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Americas Rising Star Awards in their respective practice areas. The following lawyers have been shortlisted in the individual rising stars category:

• Best in banking – Martha Martindale
• Best in capital markets – François Paradis
• Best in litigation – Mary Paterson
• Best in real estate – Yan Besner
• Best in tax and tax disputes – Pooja Mihailovich

In addition, Osler was also shortlisted for the “Best national mentoring program” and “Best national firm for talent management” awards. The nominations recognize Osler’s initiatives to support the development of current and future leading lawyers.

The Americas Rising Star Awards celebrate rising star attorneys across a number of practice areas and also highlight the progress of firms in terms of recruitment policies, mentoring, talent management and succession planning. The Euromoney Legal Media Group research team conducts a series of peer review interviews with practitioners to recognize leading lawyers. The winners will be announced in New York on September 12, 2019.
