Osler is proud to announce that Joel Heard has become a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. This Fellowship is an invitation-only honorary association of outstanding construction lawyers who are dedicated to promoting advocacy and ethical standards in construction law.

The College strives to support and encourage the association of lawyers who are distinguished for their skill, experience and high standards in construction law. Through collaboration and the shared excellence of its members, it seeks to enhance the practice and understanding of this area of law.

Joel has more than 25 years of experience in construction and infrastructure law. He advises clients from a broad range of industries, including energy, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, defence, housing and healthcare. His practice is focused on planning; advising on alternative project and commercial structures; procurement; and contract drafting and negotiation, all aimed at minimizing risk and avoiding claims and disputes.
