Five Osler Litigation lawyers have been recognized on the Pro Bono Ontario (PBO) Honour Roll celebrating those legal professionals who have made significant contributions to access to justice through PBO’s programs in 2022.
The Osler lawyers who were named to this first year of the Honour Roll are: Lia Bruschetta, partner; Alexandra McLennan Brown, associate; Simon Cameron, associate; Brodie Noga, associate and Rohan Shah, associate. Lia, Alex, Simon and Rohan were recognized for their contributions to the PBO Hotline while Brodie contributed to the Supreme Court of Canada Leave to Appeal Assistance Project.
Rohan, Lia, Alexandra, and Simon personally helped hundreds of people who called the PBO Free Legal Advice Hotline with nowhere else to turn for their everyday legal problems. Brodie helped an individual with a consumer protection matter, and Rohan assisted several individuals with various civil procedure issues.
“Thanks to Lia, Alex, Brodie, Cameron and Rohan for supporting and embodying Osler’s long-standing commitment to the community,” says Mary Paterson, partner, Litigation and member of Osler’s Community Law Program.
