Osler is proud to announce that its Intellectual Property group has once again been recognized by IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals (the IAM Patent 1000).

Keeping its position in the Gold tier for Patent Litigation, the IAM Patent 1000 remarked, “Having orchestrated and overseen prosecution and litigation strategies across various jurisdictions, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt has an international reputation for success.”

In the 2025 edition of the prestigious rankings, Osler was also ranked in the Gold tier for Patent Transactions and in the Silver tier for Patent Prosecution.

Brad White, partner and Chair of Osler’s Intellectual Property team, earned a Gold ranking in the Patent Litigation category and is recommended for Patent Prosecution.

Partners Nathaniel Lipkus and Faylene Lunn were also ranked in the Silver and Bronze tiers, respectively, for Patent Litigation.

Jean-Nicolas Delage, a partner in the Emerging and High Growth Companies Group, has been named Highly Recommended for Patent Transactions. “For non-contentious matters,” the rankings read, “patrons need look no further than Jean-Nicolas Delage. He devises strategies through licensing and agreements, to drive business growth and monetise assets.”

The IAM Patent 1000 praises Brad, Nathaniel and Faylene’s work for Viatris (formerly Mylan), saying, “The team showcased their impressive courtroom prowess recently, securing a collection of victories for Viatris (formerly Mylan) against Eli Lilly in a high-stakes patent infringement case involving the blockbuster drug Tadalafil. Their strategic brilliance and relentless advocacy were key to the successes.”
