On October 28, 2021, BrainBox AI completed its US$24 million Series A financing round led by ABB, Esplanade Ventures and Desjardins Capital. The proceeds from the financing will be used to deploy its AI technology in the built environment and further its next phase of innovation, which uses AI to facilitate cleaner and more efficient energy consumption.
BrainBox AI is a Montreal-based technology firm specializing in building automation and grid-interactive buildings AI to address the energy transition challenge.
