On June 21, 2018, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec announced its investment in Pomerleau Inc. for $50 million. This investment will make Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec a minority shareholder in the company.

Pomerleau will use the investment to execute its expansion strategy that targets new growth opportunities. The investment will also allow the company to continue to innovate and equip itself with better tools and new technologies that draw on Building Information Modeling (BIM), virtual reality, robotics and artificial intelligence.

Pomerleau is one of Canada’s leading construction companies and a pioneer in sustainable buildings that specializes in building, infrastructure, civil engineering and renewable energy sectors.

Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec is a long term institutional investor that manages funds for public and parapublic pension and insurance plans.
