On November 4, 2020, Delta Electronics completed its acquisition of Trihedral Engineering, headquartered in Nova Scotia, Canada. Under the transaction, Delta Electronics (Netherlands) BV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta, acquired 100% of the shares of Trihedral valued at approximately CAD$45 million. The acquisition represents a key part of Delta’s long term strategy in its industrial automation and system integration portfolios as it will aid in digital manufacturing. Following the acquisition, Delta intends to expand Trihedral’s software solution globally through the use of its existing sales and service network.

Delta Electronics is a global provider of power and thermal management solutions specializing in the IT, communications, industrial automation, renewable energy, lighting, power tool, automotive electric vehicle and other major industries.

Trihedral Engineering is a Canadian software creator focusing on its VTScada software and associated engineering services. Trihedral operates in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom and serves customers from over 100 countries with extensive SCADA capabilities.
