On January 8, 2021, ServiceNow completed its acquisition of Element AI. The acquisition of Element AI is ServiceNow's latest strategic investment to accelerate AI innovation in its Now Platform. The transaction will allow ServiceNow to establish an AI Innovation Hub in Canada and accelerate customer-focused AI innovation in the Now Platform. Element AI will enhance ServiceNow’s commitment to build the world's most intelligent workflow platform, enabling employees to work smarter and faster, streamline business decisions, and unlock new levels of productivity.

ServiceNow is a platform-as-a-service provider, providing technical management support, such as IT service management, to the IT operations of large corporations, including providing help desk functionality.
