On August 13, 2013, McCain Foods (Canada) Limited obtained environmental and regulatory approvals for its agrifood plant near Coaldale, Alberta. McCain’s Coaldale agrifood plant is a key french fry manufacturing facility within McCain’s North American supply network.

McCain Foods Limited is a Canadian multinational frozen food company established in New Brunswick in 1957. It is the world’s largest manufacturer of frozen potato products.
