Red Label Vacations in its acquisition by H.I.S. Group

On January 8, 2019, Red Label Vacations and certain of its affiliates entered into an agreement with H.I.S. Group., pursuant to which H.I.S. has agreed to acquire Red Label Vacations. Under the terms of the agreement, Red Label Vacations will continue to operate as an independent, wholly-owned subsidiary of H.I.S. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019 and supports H.I.S.’s expansion plans in North America.

Red Label Vacations, based in Mississauga, Canada, owns and operates a web portal which offers online travel agency services. Red Label Vacations operates redtag.ca, itravel2000.com the Travel Experts and TravelBrands.

H.I.S. Group is a leading travel agency based in Tokyo, Japan, with branches throughout the world.
