Osler acted as counsel for the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. (“Legacy”) in connection with activist shareholder matters and the $1.5 billion acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Legacy by Crescent Point Energy Corp. completed by way of plan of arrangement on June 30, 2015.
