Overview
Author Azhar Laher will be the featured speaker. His book, Journey to Home – Canadian Immigrant and Refugee Stories of Hope and Courage presents a rich tapestry of diverse immigration experiences. The book documents original stories from immigrants and refugees who have made Canada their home and contains tales of hope, despair, heartbreak, and triumph. The stories are unique and extremely personal, but they all had one goal in common…to make Canada their home.
Azhar will be joined by David Garson, co-author and Managing Partner at Garson Immigration law, and a contributor to the book, Jennifer Lee, Partner, Value Creation Services and Managing Partner, Emerging Growth Business at Deloitte. Osler’s Amy Sujae Lee, Senior Manager of Diversity and Inclusionwill provide opening remarks.
