On April 20, 2021, Absorb Software, a learning technology company based in Calgary, announced its US$500 million acquisition by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. The funding from the acquisition will allow Absorb to accelerate its growth through investments in product innovation and other strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Absorb’s learning management system technology helps organizations train, retain, and manage employees and external stakeholders.
