On August 3, 2022, Drax Group announced it had signed an agreement with Princeton Standard Pellet Corporation to acquire its pellet plant in Princeton, British Columbia. The plant is expected to contribute to Drax Group’s strategy to increase pellet production to 8 million tonnes a year by 2030 as well as support its goal to become a world leader in sustainable biomass.
Drax Group is a renewable energy company engaged in renewable power generation, the production of sustainable biomass and the sale of renewable electricity to businesses.
